Shunka is a Japanese restaurant on the 2nd floor at the base of Goryokaku Tower. Even though it is a casual restaurant, they source ingredients from the local market every morning, so their seafood dishes are the real thing. They have a comprehensive menu which includes soba (buckwheat noodles), seafood don (bowls of rice topped with fresh seafood), à-la-carte dishes to eat with sake, and kaiseki set meals.
