From late April until early May (*1) in Hakodate City, the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms bloom first, followed by the Yaezakura blossoms. So visitors can enjoy an extended cherry blossom season. There are a variety of blossom locations, from lively spots in the city to quiet, little-known spots in the outlying areas.
