The campground is 30 minutes from downtown Hakodate by car, and is super convenient for sightseeing such as Mt. Hakodate, historical buildings and churches in Motomachi, the Hakodate Bay Area and Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse.
Total 110 sites available with a capacity of 450 people. This high-standard Auto Campsite has a playground that is very popular with children and is truly an all-you-can-play field! There is also a park golf course Note 1) next to the campground, so you can try your hand at Japanese park golf while camping. This is a wonderful place to camp with family or friends. Why not leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and enjoy the contact to the full extent?

Hakodate Toi Water Park Auto Camp Ground
– Enjoy the hot springs too

Hakodate and the adjacent lush green mountains, a rich natural environment that will captivate anyone at first sight, will completely refresh your body and soul. The ‘Haraki River’ within the campground is a popular water playground for children and adults alike in the summer. In the autumn, you may even be able to see the salmon run upstream. What is more, there is a hot spring facility (Fureai Yuyukan) just a minute’s walk away, so you can enjoy not only camping but also Hakodate’s hot springs nearby.

Natural hot spring ‘Fureai Yuyukan’

The spa utilizes natural hot spring water that gushes out of the Haraki River basin, which flows into the Tsugaru Straits. Here you can enjoy two different effects of hot spring at one time. The spring water is known as “Bijin-no-yu” (hot water for beauty) because it has the effect of smoothing the skin. It is also known as ‘Hie-no-yu’ that makes your body feel refreshed.

This campground is rich in nature, surrounded by Onuma National Park and Komano-dake Mountain. With auto/RV sites and especially popular glamping, this is a campground where beginners, families, and couples can easily enjoy camping. YUKARA AUTO CAMP (RV PARK Onuma)
– Unlimited use of hot spring water

If you don’t want to rent a car, you can take a train to YUKARA AUTO CAMP, which is located right in front of Onuma Park Station. Located in Onuma Quasi National Park, a resort in southern Hokkaido, you can experience various outdoor activities in Hokkaido such as pedal boats, mini-cruises/sightseeing boat, and canoeing in addition to camping.
What a surprise! You can use the 28°C hot spring water that is drinkable as much as you like. If you do not wish to cook your own meals, you can eat at the affiliated restaurant YUKARA Cafe LEAF’ adjacent to the campground.

This site has a large grass field, and allows you to park your vehicle right next to your tent. This campground offiers a camping package ‘Camping Set for Two’ with additional fee of ¥8,000. The package includes a tent, mat, sleeping mat, chairs, etc. for two people). You can even ask them to set up the tent for you! Let’s camp with ease!

Auto Camping (Car Camping) Site w/ AC power supply

Approximately 6m x 6m for each site. This site allows you to park your vehicle and pitch a screen tent right next to it.

RV sites with power supply

This is the closest site to Onuma Lakeside Park and provides power supply for camping trailers and campers. All surfaces are covered with asphalt, so pegs cannot be used. For those wish to set up a tent or tarp, please reserve the auto site.
