It is a marathon race that runs along Hakodate’s coast, cityscape, and sightseeing spots. The maximum number of participants is about 8,000 for the full marathon and half marathon. It attracts a lot of runners from home and abroad thanks to the wonderful scenery of the course and attractive food at aid stations.
