The festival is held in Onuma Quasi National Park, in the suburbs of Hakodate, and is an event only possible in winter. There is a 20 meter-long ice slide that is full impact to slide down. The venue is filled with snow and ice statues. You can try out winter activities in the park such as riding a snowmobile and ice fishing for pond smelts.
