The observation floor of Goryokaku Tower gives a full view of Goryokaku Fort. On the first floor of the ground facility are many different souvenir stores selling not only sweets and food from Hakodate and Hokkaido, but also goods related to Toshizo Hijikata and the Hakodate War, that both have a connection with Goryokaku. There is also a shop that sells original goods on the observation floor.
